Rust off it without stripping the machine down
Treat rusted steel where it sits. The gel holds on vertical and overhead surfaces, so the motor stays in the frame and the frame stays on the floor.
What are you doing now — sanding it, or sandblasting it?
Stripping a machine down to clean it costs more in labour and downtime than the cleaning ever does. Treating it in place is the saving.
Which one?
- Flat parts, small items, anything you can dip or soak.
- Corrosion Assassin liquid
- Vertical, overhead, or fixed in place where liquid runs off.
- Corrosion Assassin Paint-On
Brush it on. Keep it wet. Wipe it off.
It removes the rust rather than converting it to a black film, it does not strip the paint that is already on there, and you can paint over it directly afterwards.
- Brush off the loose rust.
- Paint the gel on.
- Keep it wet. That is the one rule. How long it needs depends on conditions.
- Wipe the gel off. The undissolved rust comes off with it. Paint over if you are painting.
