The honest comparison: tubs, premium brands, and Geza hand cleaner
Three things sit on South African workshop shelves. Here is where each one actually sits on price.
What it costs you by the month
A cheap tub is cheap on the shelf and expensive by the month. A premium imported brand is the long-standing name and priced like it. Geza hand cleaner with grit sits between them.
Where this one is used
| What it is | Where it sits |
|---|---|
| A cheap grit tub | Around R178 on the shelf. Cheap to buy, and it is the one that disappears fastest. |
| Reinol, the premium imported brand | The long-standing name in South African workshops, and priced as the premium option. |
| Geza hand cleaner, with grit | R458.85 incl VAT for 5L, R2,298.85 for 25L. A South African industrial brand, priced well under the premium import. |
What this page does not say: that Geza hand cleaner performs as well as or better than any named brand. Nobody has tested that, so nobody is claiming it. The prices are the prices.
Two versions, and they are not interchangeable.
Geza hand cleaner, with grit
For hands that have been in the engine.
Workshops, fleet yards, mine workshops, plant. Where the soiling is heavy and the hands need something to work against.

25L R2,298.85 incl VAT
Geza hand cleaner, smooth
For the basins where grit blocks the drain.

25L R1,148.85 incl VAT
Four packs. Two versions.
